A relaxed pre-wedding evening at SIP — drinks, good food, and an easy start to the weekend in the place where our story first began!

A day in Alicante with either Virgilio or Hannah for those joining the pre-wedding plans.

V&H Wedding celebration at El Botanico.

Location
The wedding venue, El Botanico de Sagra, is located around an hour from Alicante city by car, in a small village.
If you are driving, there is an open public parking area in the village, a short walk from the venue (less than 5 minutes).

For those of you who have requested a seat on the transport, the minivan will depart from Alicante and El Botánico at the following times and will also park in the village, a short walk from the venue (less than 5 minutes).

What to wear
Thursday evening at Sip
Smart-casual and relaxed — something you’d happily wear for a laid-back evening out in a city you love.
Wedding celebration
Elevated, thoughtful, and botanical. Dressed up, but still yourself.
Think flowing or tailored pieces in natural fabrics such as linen, silk, or cotton — dresses (long or short), suits, co-ords, jumpsuits, and relaxed tailoring.
Avoid anything restrictive or uncomfortable (or that you’ll regret dancing or enjoying eating in).
Weather note
Early June is usually warm (24-26°C), with cooler evenings (16-18°C). A light jacket, shawl, or layer for later in the night is recommended.

Food & drinks
We’ll have plenty of food, wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and water throughout the evening.
If you have any dietary requirements we should know about, please message us before the end of May.

We’ve created our wedding day to be something we can truly enjoy with all of our favourite people — and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Your presence is everything to us, and we’re not expecting gifts or wanting anyone to feel any financial pressure.
